Here’s the short version of the story of how I got into the real estate business.

I began my career in the lending industry. Back then, if you had a pulse, you could get a loan. I would meet young couples and tell them I had a loan program for them, but you could see they couldn’t last six months with the loan. I would advise them to work on their credit and save some money so that they would get the best deal. I wouldn’t write them a loan.  

One night at dinner, my wife asked me if I realized that I talked more people out of getting loans than I actually signed up. That’s when I realized I should probably be somewhere else. When I got my real estate license, my goal was to help people make the best decisions for themselves. I continue to do that every day.
